Four Secrets For Great Foam Party Photos
One of the best parts of a foam party? The photos.
You get incredible happy photos of your children during a foam party because—well—they’re incredibly happy. Plus with our dance playlist, they can’t help but groove—so you’ll get smiles in a variety of great poses.
Kids go absolutely wild in the bubbles—and the pictures are some of the best you’ll ever get of them just being kids.
One of our operators, Shawnee, is also a professional children’s photographer. (Little know Chicago Foam Company secret—when you book, if you ask nicely, we’re sometimes able to get her to your event to capture photos for you.) We asked her for some tips on how anyone can get the kinds of great pictures as her—turns out, you can definitely get a camera roll full of the best snaps of the year.
Here are the secrets:
📱 Use burst mode.
(On iPhone, this is called Live Photos.) Foam is fast, chaotic fun—your camera’s burst mode helps you catch the perfect mid-jump, mid-laugh, mid-chaos moment.
☀️ Keep the sun behind you, not them.
Don’t backlight the shot. When the sunlight’s hitting your kids from the front, they look great and the foam sparkles.
👕 Dress for the camera.
Bright, colorful clothes (think rainbow tie-dye) pop in the foam. A plain white t-shirt just disappears.
Look at what happens when you keep the sun in front of a colorful outfit!
🫧 Want a really cool shot? Just ask.
We’re happy to help stage a great photo—like arcing the foam over a group or helping catch a full-coverage moment.
