Our Foam Party Team

  • Foam Party Operator

    Kiron

    OPERATOR

Kiron is a Chicago Public Schools teacher who spent last year teaching third grade and drama at Franklin Fine Arts Center and running the school’s after-school improv group for fifth through eighth graders. Before Chicago he taught for Seattle Children’s Theatre and Village Theatre, and he holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University. He’s also a digital artist who designs custom stickers, mugs and shirts, and a lifelong Pokémon and Nintendo devotee.

  • Julia

    OPERATOR

Julia studies psychology at Seattle University and plans to become a pediatric psychologist, which means her summer running foam parties is something like field research. During the school year she’s a nursery lead, a job that makes running a foam party feel downright restful. She learned the ropes from her brother Gavin, also a Chicago Foam Company operator, and her sister Emily, a Chicago Foam Company alum.

  • Foam Party Operator

    Ryan

    OPERATOR

Ryan earned his BFA in Acting from Roosevelt University and spent a summer apprenticing with Oak Park Festival Theatre, where he built outdoor sets by day and performed in the end-of-summer showcase.

  • Parker

    OPERATOR

Parker graduated from Columbia College Chicago this spring with a BFA in Film & Television and Screenwriting, plus a minor in stage combat. He made the Dean’s List six semesters running, script-supervises student films, and spent four years leading tabletop roleplaying games for strangers of all ages at Columbia’s Dungeons & Dragons club.

  • Senior Foam Party Operator

    Quinn

    SENIOR OPERATOR

Quinn is an accomplished playwright and performer who now teaches for CPS. Originally from Phoenix, she has no problem with Chicago’s summer heat, but loves that she gets to be the reason for cool summer fun for so many children. She lives in Logan Square with a reptile menagerie.

  • Chicago Foam Party Operator

    Shawnee

    PHOTOGRAPHER / OPERATOR

If you see Shawnee and her camera at your event, you’re about to get the most epic foam photos ever. With three summers’ experience as a Chicago Foam Company operator, she knows how to get the perfect shots of happy children. She developed her artist’s eye majoring in photography at Columbia College, and has worked in photography from weddings to school pictures. Aside from photography and foam she spends her falls, winters and springs as a preschool teacher.

  • Foam Party Operator

    Carter

    LOGISTICS / OPERATOR

Carter is a rising junior at North Park University and one of two operators with experience in the exhilarating field of professional ice cream scoopage. As the Chicago Foam Company’s resident daredevil, Carter can be seen on social media doing what he assures us are very safe tricks on his motorcycle. If you ask him nicely, he may do a backflip for you.

  • Foam Party Operator

    Stephanie

    OPERATOR

Stephanie is a second-year Information Systems student at Loyola who arrived already fluent in the two languages of a foam party: logistics and children. She played four years of varsity volleyball and, as a senior leader in Adapted PE, designed tailored warmups for special education students.

  • Foam Party Operator

    Gavin

    OPERATOR

Gavin is a rising junior in engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He’s a proud volunteer for the Best Buddies program and a member of the Computer Coding Club and Art Club, so he is really rooting hard against AI.

  • Foam Party Operator

    Peter

    OPERATOR

Peter is a rising senior at the University of Illinois, majoring in history and human geography. His making-children-happy experience is in three years of scooping ice cream and training other ice cream scoopers. He’s also an avid waterskier and wakeboarder who has worked in operations for a charity that helps refugees living in Chicago.

  • Foam Party Chicago Owner

    Scott

    FOUNDER / OWNER

Scott Green and his wife live in North Center with their two children, 12 and 9. He founded the Chicago Foam Company on his own front lawn, the first company of its type in Chicagoland and still the largest and the best. A 2006 and 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois, outside of foam he’s a professional magician whose credits include “Penn & Teller: Fool Us,” countless appearances on Chicago TV, and a stint as team magician for the Chicago Bulls; a stand-up comedian who’s appeared at theaters and comedy festivals across North America; a five-time game show contestant; and a pinball enthusiast and collector.
